edison mimeograph (1902)

edison mimeograph

Invented by Thomas A. Edison and made by the A.B. Dick company, the Mimeograph was one of the first successful office duplicators. Employing the stencil method of printing, the Mimeograph used hand or type-written masters. An 1894 advertisement claimed as many as 1500 copies could be produced by one original letter, a definite attraction to the businessman of that day.
