GrC Wins Awards at 70th Annual TAGA Conference

TAGA, or Technical Association of the Graphic Arts, is a hands-on, competitive Graphic Communication club. Each year, they create a technical, student-run journal that displays exceptional content and design. TAGA gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on, Graphic Communication experience with research, design, web development, marketing, print and digital production. The final product is taken to the annual TAGA conference where they compete with other student chapters from around the world. This year, the conference was held in Baltimore, Maryland.

Cal Poly GrC was well-represented at the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts 70th Annual Conference. Executive members of TAGA include: Jasper Lim, Molly McCarthy, Ciara Lane, Kristen Nagamatsu, Ashley Chen, Madeline Hagarty, and Ryan Hutson. At the Baltimore conference in March, Cal Poly took home a couple of prestigious awards such as “Best Production Quality,” “Best Publication Design,” and the “Harvey Levenson Award for Best Undergraduate Research.” Way to go, TAGA!
