International Graphic Communication Week Day 2 Roundup

After Day Two of International Graphic Communication Week students were buzzing with ideas and inspiration after all of the wonderful presenters.

The second day of International Graphic Communication Week is over and we had many fantastic speakers for the day including: Richard Kouwenhoven, Dan Harrelson, and Thor Grossen. The day’s activities also included the annual GrC Gameshow hosted by professor, Malcom Keif, GrC student club presentations, and the 20x20.

The first presentation of the day started off with President of Hemlock Printers, Richard Kouwenhoven, and GrC alum, Nicole Smith. They spoke about the ways in which they are reducing their carbon footprint and their customers by making sustainability one of their main focuses and values. Kouwenhoven discussed many of their certifications including Hemlock being FSC certified, just liked our very own UGS!
