Biography

Nick earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication with a concentration in Graphics for Packaging at Cal Poly. He spent the first few years after graduation working as the Prepress Manager for a label printing company in the Bay Area. He created proofs for customers, set up press-ready files for both flexo and digitally printed narrow web labels, and was heavily involved in flexo platemaking. As someone who's not much of a designer, his favorite part of the job was looking at all the beautiful designs customers would send in for printing. Nick is excited to be back at Cal Poly sharing his industry knowledge with students.

Nick teaches GrC 320: Managing Quality in Graphic Communication and labs for GrC 316: Flexographic Printing Technology

In his free time, Nick likes hiking, fishing, playing video games, woodworking, laser engraving, and hanging out with his cat, Ham
